Why I Do This Work

I believe we all want to feel safe, connected, and at peace within ourselves — but life doesn’t always make that easy.
Many of us learned early on to stay strong, take care of others, or hide what we felt just to get by. Over time, that kind of quiet survival can leave us anxious, tired, or disconnected.

I became a therapist because I deeply understand what it means to hold things alone for too long — and how powerful it can be to finally have a space that feels safe enough to begin healing.

It’s deeply meaningful to walk alongside clients as they gain a clearer understanding of their story, reconnect with themselves, and create a life that feels more aligned, balanced, and whole.

“Healing isn’t about knowing who you are — it’s about giving yourself space to begin.”

About

My understanding of people has been shaped by working alongside them during some of the most challenging and uncertain times in their lives.

Working in community mental health and hospital-based oncology and palliative care gave me the opportunity to support people through grief, chronic illness, caregiving, trauma, relationship challenges, and times when life didn't look the way they expected. Those experiences continue to shape the way I listen, the questions I ask, and how I work alongside each person who comes to therapy.

Today, I provide virtual therapy for adults throughout New York and Connecticut. My clients come to therapy for many different reasons, but often share a desire to better understand themselves, their relationships, and the experiences that continue to shape their lives.

When You’re Ready

You don’t have to have everything figured out before starting therapy.
When you’re ready, we’ll move at a pace that feels safe for you — exploring what’s been hard and creating space for change and understanding.

It would be an honor to walk beside you as you take this step toward healing and growth.
